Do you know how PRIZED positions in pilot training in the Air National Guard WERE during Vietnam???

If Bush's name had been Harry Smith and his father a plumber are you SURE he would have gotten in?

Pilot training positions are are always prized. Typically they go to the most competent applicants.

If Mr. Smith's son had graduated from Yale and earned an MBA he might well have prevailed over a few thousand high school drop outs.

In retrospect, anyone capable of being elected to the office of the Governor of Texas or higher office is probably a very astute individual.

So far no credible evidence as been presented to create question about the merit of Young George W. Bush's appointment.
