I just received a bill from a doctor I last saw over 3 1/2 years ago. I'd paid all the charges long ago. This particular doctor had a revolving door of staff, so this did not necessarily surprise me. It did make me wonder whether she wa going out of business, though. Another doctor of mine just closed his doors because he could no longer make ends meet. Insurers were holding him up on outlays he had to make, such that he could no longer stay ahead of the float. Gee, can't wait for government to take over health care. Then the real financial geniuses will be in charge. YIKES!
