That's right. You have asserted gays are discriminated against but have not demonstrated it.

I don't think you know what the word discriminate means.

Of course gays are discriminated against. They're not allowed to marry, whereas heterosexuals are.

Is this wrong, a violation of their fundamental civil rights? I say it is. You say it isn't.

According to the California and Massachusetts Supreme courts, it is discrimination that violates their state constitutions. Other countries have come to the same conclusion about civil rights and gay marriage.

It's true the U.S. Supreme court has yet to rule that this particular discrimination violates the U.S. Constitution. But they will. "Separate but equal" was legal discrimination in this country years before the Supreme Court put an end to it. I'm making the same argument with gay marriage bans.

Claiming straight marriage, "produced core families with a set of cultural values that builds community and a particular type of society," while claiming gay culture as "founded upon carnal materialism" is bigotry. You're a heterosexual supremacist. Why not just own it?
