Gays can and do marry .... people of the opposite sex. May not be wise but it happens all the time.

Remember Anne Heche? Ellen Degeneres's old g/f - they were going to get a civil union or marry as soon as it became legal. But before that happened, Anne decided to marry a man and had a child.

I've read that almost all "married" gays have sex with other people. Few even expect one another to be faithful. I read recently that in Holland which has had gay marriage for some time, the average gay "married" person has an average of 8 sexual partners a year. Apparently marriage doesn't end the promiscuity that charactizes most gays. A shame.
