Bush may be "astute" politically, but I haven't seen any of that "astuteness" in his business dealings before he was Governor, or his time AS Governor, or his time AS President. Peter, if Bush were a Democrat do you think you'd be so quick to defend him? WHAT do you like about him? His fiscal conservatism? His achievements in foreign policy? His prescience on economic policy? Can you HONESTLY tell me that if Bush were a Democrat that you'd be so supportive of his record???
