TP, if you are right or wrong about global warming, we will not get clean air and water if we halve CO2 emissions. The economic destruction would cause megadeath and pollution would increase, not decrease because people couldn't afford the luxury of low polluting technologies. CO2 is not "dirty". You have been misled about it being a pollutant. Water quality won't improve by reducing CO2 emissions. Where or how did you get that idea? Mqurice
