The saving rate in this nation is atrocious. We've been saving a minimum of 17% of our annual income for 10 yrs. Thankfully, we pulled most of it out 6 months ago and put it somewhere safe. I don't know if we can maintain that rate of savings now that it's more than certain our taxes are going up.

Americans need to focus on saving more and reducing their debt......including Union members.........and quit borrowing money. As in the big three auto companies.

It's time to feel some pain.
