<--Big deal. He didn't do anything about it. Now he says it's time to buy stocks. Do you think he's an idiot now?>

NO, you're an idiot if you thnk that... you think he's going to sell all his holding whenerver the market goes down? He's an investor not a chart chasing tick trader.

< understand he's been in them a long time. The point is, his bearishness didn't help him in the 90s, and it didn't keep him from losing big money in this bear!>

He's made huge money over the past couple of decades, to say nothing about before then........ period.

Wake up.

<--I'm not a chart chaser. I'm just saying that virtually no one really saw the full extent of all this coming. >

All sorts of people did...short interest in homebuilders, financials, FNM, and the rest have been HUGE... right here on SI people have been short FNM for years.... you hang out on the wrong threads, and further you lose interest when someon isn't chasing the latest craze. I haven't owned a stock in 10 years (other than mineral, etc)... you'd of called me an idiot 5 years ago when the market was rebounding from the tech wreck.

It's all a matter of perspective... and yes ALL SORTS of people saw this whole thing coming:
