Thanks Don! ... I still have trouble with the 'psychology' of investment trends.

If I was going to buy the whole company, Novell is probably worth about 3 times what the current stock price is set at on the NASDQ. I think the difference is mostly the result of a lack of confidence in the Management of the company. I hope that this perception of Novell's Management changes soon ... but, like I've heard from Joe Antol ... they (the management) need to 'show the money' to regain their credability ... I'm expecting that it won't happen in 1997.

I think they are deliberately setting up the fiscal year 1997 as a 'low benchmark' so they can look really good next year.

I'm a bit troubled that they might be waiting too long to make significant sales revenue ... MSFT is busily trying to lock them out of the market, while they seem to be 'preparing for next year' ... again! But, then again ... if they pull it off, we could do really well :) !

I hope these latest price/volume spurts mean that other people (with more money than me) are starting to believe that Novell will have a good 1998. If that's what is really happening, then I think the upturn that we've waited years to arrive is finally starting.
