I have a very good friend who went to Harvard Business School (HBS). Through him, I have met many HBS grads. They are generally smart, but here's what I think the problem is-- because the ranking of a b-school appears to be very important and Harvard sits atop the rankings year-after-year, the grads of HBS seem to have an inflated sense of self. Of course, this does not describe my friend. Google the dotcom flameout Petopia. The founder was from HBS.
