Global risk managers who got their MBAs studying Black Scholes
in detail and manipulating derivatives completely forgot that
purchasing US treasuries ("risk free rate") at negative real
yield leads to large losses. I think "some" investors remember.
Things are very different from 1929-1935, since the dollar is
no longer linked to gold. The Fed inflates at will, and that
will they now have. Oh, my! Financial crises in floating
currency world often culminate in currency crises. This
is more of a rule for a financial crisis these days,
rather than an exception.

Oh, and this: <g>
