It's over and done. Forget I said it.

But the fact that you said it proves the point. You people, even to this day, continue to hate Bush because you believe he wasn't duly elected.

Of course, the facts have been out for some 7 or 8 years now, that Bush won the election. There isn't any doubt about it, but there are still you haters going around claiming he didn't win and using that as the basis for your hatred.

You never gave him a chance, even though he was elected according to our Constitution and frankly, has performed well in office for most of his term.

When Katrina happened, you immediately bashed Bush. In spite of the fact that Bush wasn't the problem with Katrina, Nagan and Franco were. You never gave Bush a chance. Anything that went wrong was Bush's doings.

You're a hate-mongering liberal, just like Maddow & Rhodes and Franken and the rest.

In the most brutal election in our nation's history, that of 1800 between Adams and Jefferson, you had two great friends, a president and VP, going at it in the harshest of terms. Jefferson was a scoundrel, actually PAYING people to demonize Adams. It was nasty.

But when it was over, they were able to put it behind them and restore their closest friendship until they both died on July 4, 1826. These were two men with polar opposite views, but they understood the need for civility and decency. Adams, in spite of losing the election due to these scandalous and scurrilous attacks, was able to resume his friendship with Jefferson because he understood politics, perhaps better than anyone of the time.

You guys don't get that. You, bentway, and the others, are fueled by Bush hatred. Even though he is absolutely a good and decent man of highest integrity. He happens to see things differently from you and many others and it is, simply put, too early to know who is right or wrong.
