Yes the job bank, a creation of the UAW. Their fearless leader told the folks in DC that they are not giving up their job bank, they've earned it. Well my friend then you can just give up your jobs all together would be my response to that. They clearly don't get it. When told that they need to build a car with 32 people like Toyota instead of 75 people like GM his response was we need to protect those 43 jobs. I should have been sitting on the hearing because I would have responded, "Listen to me very carefully dumbass, your options are not 75 folks to build a car they are 32 and be competitive or 0 and go the way of the dinosaur."
