A dear friend has had that very same surgery. I know she had good success with it, but unfortunately was rear ended about 2 yrs later which really messed her up. I don't think it was a terribly long recovery......it seems she was back to work fairly soon too. As for that warranty, God knows better than to try to bail us out from the inevitable. gg
