Don't know anything about the proposed new SEC chairperson, but she's generating a lot of criticism by the self-styled "cyber sleupp" community, which may be a good sign.

This community has been behind the curve with respect to efficient regulation and registration of hedge funds, the use of derivatives and other substitutes for naked shorting, abuse of failures to deliver by MM's, manipulation by short sellers, crimes by short sellers, etc.

But they can tell you that most pink sheet penny stocks are scams and that the sun will come up tomorrow.

For the record, I'd like to see the pink sheet market be changed to require full reporting of capital structure and changes thereto in advance, as well as severely limiting the use of paid promotion and share dumping. I've been posting that for years.
