Centrist on what? I think one could say that bush was "confused" to use your offensive language. Save for his fiscal drunkenness, which you guys might want to sell to us as "centrist", what else has been "centrist" about? Tax policy? Foreign policy?


The problem is your idea of "extreme" is convoluted. Medicare Part D is right out of the liberal playbook. The growth in education spending, liberal.

His foreign policy has been somewhat conservative, but not a bit more than FDR's.

As to tax policy, I don't find anything extreme about small tax cuts.

If he has taken an "extreme" position I would say that stem cells might have been it, except even there he split the baby.
