Ethanol is not going away. Ethanol subsidies are not going away. As bad of a policy as it is, ethanol import tariffs are unlikely to be lifted. When projects like Teddy's Big Dig stop then you can expect farm subsidies to stop. They call it pork because everyone like to load up on it no matter how unhealthy it is.
