I don't know yet what effect the vitamin D has had on my arteries, but I have huge calcified knots in my muscles (one in my hip was about golf ball sized and several others were marble sized) that are shrinking dramatically (diameter cut in half) since I started the vitamin D a couple of months ago. This is after having spent 7 years working on them with trigger point massage and stretching and getting some reduction but VERY SLOWLY. I'm guessing the vitamin D is helping my body reabsorb the calcium.

oh that is awesome news to me....i have 'trigger points' in my muscles as well, takes major time consuming massage to work them out, but it's an ongoing 'job'.....i've been taking 2000 units of vitamin d per day, but hearing this i'm going to up my intake to 6000.....it will be interesting to see what effect it has on trigger points...mine are quite small, but are PAINFUL when working them with massage and stretch....

ps, congratulations on your great success in reversing your developing heart disease....amazing!
