I liquidated all my positions in Spansion today, mostly for tax reasons as I can write off the current losses as long as I incur them before the end of the year against future investment related profits. I may re-enter in 2009 once there's more visibility on the financial future of the company and how the Samsung suit as well as other IP licensing business is shaping up. I obviously think the stock is ridiculously undervalued, however there's little performance to be expected to the upside in the current credit and economic climate.
