Thats pretty accurate, though a lot of the paneling was painted. I don't know what made people do that - go in and paint over beautifully stained woodwork.

Couple years ago, an older man from Spokane was visiting his nephew in town. They called and wondered if he could have a tour. It seems his uncle lived in the house in the 1920s and 1930s and he visited the house as a child. He recalled there was a bearskin rug that was in the upstairs bedroom and he would go in there and play in front of the fire.
