But, are we? Canadians make in the same ballpark.

Is perhaps the problem that we haven't insisted that Mexico more fairly distribute the wealth there? If we had wage parity across N. America, then manufacturers would have to weigh transportation costs against labor costs for items like cars.

If our labor is overpaid, our management is INSANELY overpaid. When the CEO of Ford makes $23 million a year while the CEO of Toyota make $1 million a year, it's indisputable. Maybe we ALL need a pay cut.
