Still, the military wanted to apply Geneva Convention standards because they believe it gives the US moral authority when their troops get captured. LOL!! So much for that idea indeed....if anyone is so naive to think that AQ would ever consider treating our men with humanity, they need only look at the conduct of those animals in iraq and Afghanistan long before any allegations of torture or other misreatment arose... This is the real world. You don't play strictly by the rules when the other guy does not, that is, unless you are invested in defeat... J.
