I know there is an antipathy for attorneys here, but the Senate is, after all, a legislative branch, so it isn't completely unexpected to find so many lawyers in its hallowed

I don't have an antipathy toward attorneys. I am blessed to have slept with one for over 27 glorious years!

Like most other career fields though, there are lawyers and there are lawyers. My opinion is that far too many attorneys who have migrated into politics tend to sell their soul for the power and ego trip.

In Schlossberg's case, she brings nothing to the table with the exception of her father's name. That is not justification for her to get the nod.

I have no criticism of her personally. I just don't see how the NY Governor can put her in a job that many congressmen and women in New York state have worked for and deserve the opportunity far more than she does.

At least, hillary clinton ran for the office and won by popular vote.
