My dog in the fight is facts- I hate seeing partial offerings that are intended to dmininish by ignoring the truth. The comment about children's book was made to be deprecating. It felt unfair. As unfair as some of the slurs thrown at Palin for moosehunting or being a beauty queen.

And sure, I think it adds to her credentials- not that she has written, but that she has written on those particularly relevant topics.

And there may be other candidates more deserving- I don't know where you get the idea I am stumping for CK. I said I was surprised at her accomplishments when I looked her up. There is not much out there on her positions, but again, she isn't running- she's being appointed and one hopes the governor will do his job vetting. She will have to prove herself at some point.

It's so frustrating to present a fact and be accused of having a dog in the fight for doing so. It's called objectivity.
