The only one talking about isolationism is you. You are trying to change the subject and it's a nice try. However, the subject is our oil addition leading to our massive interference in the Middle East, their hatred of us as a result, and our indirect funding of their terrorism against us. All of that should cease. The subject is our oil addiction funding petro-dictatorships all around the world, including those in Russia and Venezuela and Iran. We should engage with countries on a basis of mutual respect and beneficial bilateral trade. Our oil obsession is dominating our entire foreign policy agenda and that is a huge distraction from all the other very real problems this world and our country has. It is leading to very typical addiction behavior: fighting, ignoring moral principles in the achievement of our obsessive objective of securing our oil supplies, and all of our waking moments and power structures dedicated to finding and securing more oil.

Get rid of the oil and we free ourselves to do so much more.
