ls, wait until the CA style democrats get a foothold in congress... CA has the highest gas tax in the nation. the highest income tax in the nation. the lowest income where the highest income tax becomes effective. the highest sales tax in the nation. the 2nd highest business tax in the nation. and they claim they are broke, in spite of increasing spending 40% in 4-5 years. the schools have received an additional 30% in funding on a 5% drop in students... and they claim to be broke. it costs nearly 3x to house a prisoner in CA than it does in florida. it costs nearly 2x to send a child to an LA unified school district, with nearly a 50% drop out rate - i kid you not!, than it does to get a quality private education. arnold's old secretary works on the "garbage board" that meets once or twice a month and pulls in about $150k a year. the people of CA are dumber than stupid door nails. however, after their BLATANTLY ILLEGAL ATTEMPT to raise taxes behind the scenes, some people are starting to get into postal gear. the state has been mismanaged so badly by corrupt politicians, lobbyists and special interest groups, all feathering their own nest at the expense of the people, that bankruptcy would be welcome and is the only long term solution. give CA illegal tax increase ground zero a listen, if interested... go to john and ken's column and listen to the following shows...
