Lots of irony in my week.

I did very well on my Zion and RKH short.

I was clobbered on KBH, CTX, and MS. The homebuilder news only gets worse yet they rallied. MS had bad news and rallied.

I was fried alive shorting EAT. They did get a loan rolled over, but the restaurants have very poor prospects.

The killer was Macy's. Up about 100% since Turkey Day. Short profit taking I figure. Maybe Macy's offers its own line of securitized debt on its credit cards. Did they get under the TARP w/o my notice???

My oil stocks showed some signs of life.

It makes sense that the regional banks are taking gas. I don't think they are too big to fail. I don't have any COF, but it had a poor month, and I know it has attached itself to the FED's teat.
