I think eventually they'll move all of the paper mills overseas or down to Mexico.

We had two little 1/2 frozen hummingbirds out on the feeder after we put it out this am. The first time I went to change the water, I almost had to shove one of them off. He flew away pretty fast, so he was OK. We had to change the water every 1 1/2 hr because of the freezing temps. Yesterday we only had one hummer........at least that is what I thought......and it came as such a surprise to see him. I'm assuming the little old lady next door is feeding them also? They wouldn't have any reason to stay here if that wasn't the case. So..........we are now committed to feeding them all winter, as it's too late for them to leave.

We are amazed they are able to live through these horribly freezing nights, and have no idea why they don't freeze.

I know I'm looking forward to the day when it warms up. I can't be here all of the time, and someone has to change that water.
