Agree that he got me into investing as well. But as far as his non market timing advice being for the most part good, I no longer think that is the case. His recommendation of the Vanguard High Yield Bond Fund in a fixed income portfolio was horrible.

And now my concern is one of Bob's longest standing recommendations in the fixed income arena, the California General Obligations which Bob has always favored. I thought I heard him back off that rec on Saturday. Did you catch that?
