Not at all, but at least I had enough class not to make it about one with you. I was just mentioning that some of your points on micro-architecture were ones where I didn't know enough about to respond, but Chipguy on the other forum had some ideas. You're welcome.

Either you're misinformed, or just pretending to be. Cortex A8 can be configured with or without L1 cache, with or without L2 cache, with or without media instructions, and many other options. I asked you what the configuration is that only comes to 9mm2. If you don't know, then just say so. Otherwise, provide a link.

Re: My point. You can find plenty of decent laptops with larger screens, more powerful processors and a better array of features for maybe $150 more. Now granted, it wouldn't have the battery life, but it would have a DVD drive.

But you didn't bother to link to a comparable ARM based Netbook that's $150 less, so I presume that such a thing only exists in your mind. Feel free to change that opinion by actually providing proof.
