Box, thanks for the reply. I always try to remember that I could be wrong and in this case I've got time to hold out until I'm very wrong <g>. Yep, it's a position, and one that I can either average down on or average up, the balance of the farm so to speak. What bugs me most is that I didn't really see this downturn in oil prices coming, that I didn't really believe the predictions I read. And the only thing that makes much sense to me in retrospect is a lot forced-selling to raise cash by the speculators. But the day will come when the specs go long again, me thinks, & I want to be dragging up on their coattails. PS: I'm a bottom-shelf tequila guy. Got F'd up on scotch too bad in my younger days to enjoy it anymore. Ever suck a Cutty cork? Whatever happened to Robert Blake, the "if I'd known I was gonna live this long, I would have taken better care of my self" guy? SS
