Agree on downward direction, but I think we continue to climb wall of worry through the winter. I also think commodities will not be immune to next downleg in the market. Consumer is tapped out. Obama proposal of close to a billion $ over 2 years or about half billion/year needs to be put into perspective. Its huge burden on future taxpayers but its only 4% of GDP - a help but not enough to stem the slide imo. You have to wonder about govt intervention vs letting the free market shake things out. As time passes I think the big story will be a deflationary depression, not hyperinflation. I hope I'm wrong and that neither come to pass. To those observing Chanukkah tonight and for the next 8 days - Happy Chanukkah. BWDIK
