Neo, the reason to not live on the coastal region of anywhere is because tsunamis happen really fast and moving house is not possible when a bolide announces arrival by splashdown in one of the vast bodies of water covering Earth.

I too studied Fourier transforms and Laplace ones too. Not only did I study Fourier transforms but doing so enabled me to invent CDMA which is now used around the world and growing exponentially. It's true I didn't actually do the detailed inventing and patenting, but I did think of the idea which led me to find Qualcomm and supply them with loads of cash to do the actual implementation and production. Some of us don't just study stuff and do a bit of name-dropping "I studied Fourer you know!" We actually do things and think things and get things right. It's true that sometimes we get things wrong but I'm sure my thoughts on Global Cooling are more like my thoughts on Qualcomm than my thoughts were on Globalstar [bankrupt thoughts leading to bankrupt company and big financial losses].

How studying Fourier's maths leads you to conclude that Global Warming is all on beats me. I can just look at the sun-spot cycles and match them to the cold and warm periods and even without Fourier, or Laplace, predict a cold winter this year [which I did long ago and you and others are noticing that my prediction was right].

It might yet turn out to be the official start of the Ice Age return, and I'm offering my usual double your money back guarantee on that.
