Thanx for your excellent post. I would just like to add for any skeptics out there that I recently read that since 1991 PC manufacturers and INTC have spent a total of $2 billion on the "Intel Inside" campaign.

So in addition to Intel's technical leadership and dominant share, they have created a very powerful brand.

Also, when you consider that over half of all PC's sold are replacement PC's, Intel's effort to drive category sales are right on the money.
