LOL!!!!!!!!! Peter, what is your definition for "most successful foreign policies"?????????????? (I'll bet it's WAY 'special'....) Re: "since JFK told the Soviets to take their missiles out of Cuba." (Surely you have not forgotten that PART of the deal we made with the Soviets - to get them to take their missiles out of Cuba - was that we would take our nuclear-capable medium range missiles out of Turkey. Which we did. I know that they tried to keep that part of it 'hush-hush' at the time... but the historical documents are out now.)
