Just how much do you the the "cost of developing a product" is when amortized over thousands of vehicles produced?

Crap. You're totally clueless.


It's huge...it's not just developing, it's creating the superstructure to manufacture it to planned capacity, launch it, support it in the field, , etc...typical product life cycle shit...hell man, a couple of relevant mistakes in the business model and the financials crumble. Say for the hell of it they forecast selling X number of cars @ year and they end up actually selling X/2...the effect on the business case can be drastic. They have set up space, tooling, manpower, and all of the supporting superstructure. If the screw up in reverse, they leave lots of money on the table for the competition to lap up.

C'mon man...this ain't your corner store kind'a business...this is over your demagogued right winger head. Give it up.
