Kerm - thanks for the followup. It's looking like another busy winter drilling season is shaping up. I think it's time to start identifying some of the cos. who will be expected to benefit....... PRUDENTIAL STEEL may be one such situation - again, thanks for your informative and reasoned responses in this forum. I suspect there may be opportunities to make some gains in some of the western Cda. oil service related stocks. For the most part these companies had a tough go of it between January and June of this year - the winter was colder than most and then the traditional breakup season dragged on for linger than normal only to be followed by a historically wet spring/early summer season. The result is that revenues/earnings for many service stocks, as well as many oil & gas producers, have been negatively impacted. It's possible that with the resulting disappointing quarterly earnings announcements there may be opportunity to buy oversold stocks. It's just a matter of trying to identify them first....
