Fair game for what? It's one thing to be smeared by openly left-wing or right-wing commentators. That usually reveals more about the commetators themselves than about the ones being commented on.

But when major mainstream media organizations do entire hit jobs on a private citizen who chooses to stick himself into the political process, that's when I cry foul. Especially when said mainstream media only does it to one side of the political spectrum, namely the right side. There's a level of professionalism that I expect from those carrying the mantle.

In any case, both you and Ted give nothing more than lip service against threats and vandalism, then quickly shift the subject toward "lies and distortions." Wow, as if that's the only thing the supporters of Prop. 8 are suffering from.
