My local hardware webshop (http://www.komplett.be/k/ki.aspx?sku=422096) has the 3Ghz listed at about the same price of the 2.66GHz i7. They typically list new parts a couple of days before they are available. Price/performance wise, this looks like a very competitive part, certainly considering that the platform cost is a lot lower than for an Intel i7 system.
