Any role that requires him to be other than Tom Cruise. What he does isn't acting - it's being Tom Cruise. In a role that calls for a Tom Cruise, he's the best!

My favorite actors are the guys and gals that, on seeing their work, you suddenly realize, "Oh, THAT's the guy that played (some other completely different role). The chameleons that are really great character actors. They usually aren't the "stars".
