You don't know this. I don't either. To make that kind of statement, you'd have to know a lot about drainage patterns, salt usage patterns, and the topology and currents of the Sound.

It is an estuary. Which means marshes. If you know anything about the dynamics of marshes, well...

Obviously you don't.
