I wasn't fukked. I knew the risk I was running.....that's why I negotiated a good price. People are walking because they afford to make the payments. They will stay if they can make those payments.

Some will, some won't. You are lucky you are in a relatively stable market. Lots of people are way under; if you were you might have a different opinion.

If you walk, its very likely you won't be able to buy another house for what...six years? What's the point if you can continue to make the payments? My experience has been the people who walk are usually the flippers and the people could can't afford the payments. The rest grin and bear it. Maybe this time will be different.......I guess we'll see.
