I know a gal that is supposed to use the CPAP and her power was cut off.......we'd help her but she is beyond help now.................behind in every payment ..............home, garbage, water, power, cell phone and now her car. She has no health insurance. We helped her get into a car that was cheap; but, instead, she bought one that is $4000 more and used our friendship with the dealer to get the deal financed. Both her and the dealer had no business making the deal so we have to wash our hands of the issue now. We feel badly but can't totally support her and her habit of living beyond her means. Her last car was a Jaguar and it was repo'd. She also needs a breathing machine for asthma which requires power. We let her come to our place to use it ( we do have power ) but now she broke the device. I tried to fix it for her but realized she is missing a part in the device itself which channels the air supply across the surface of the liquid medication reservoir. We seem to be a magnet for troubled people these days...............we have big hearts but are going to have to set limits. We can't bail out our circle of friends................seems "bail out" is what everyone is looking for these days. Merry Xmas to all that are left standing................we need to help others but not at the price of being the local welfare office. In the end.............who will bail out the ones that are bailing others out? Who are the real fools here?? We're bailing out the rich and the poor.
