SyQuest Technology Inc. Appoints Stanley L. Pace to Board of Directors
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 23, 1997--SyQuest Technology Inc. (Nasdaq:SYQT) Thursday announced the addition of Stanley L. Pace, the former president and CEO of American Trans Air (ATA), to its board of directors.
Pace joins existing board members C. Richard Kramlich, New Enterprise Associates, Joseph Baia, Indigita Corp., Edwin Harper, president and CEO, SyQuest, and chairman Edward Marinaro, SyQuest.
''Stan Pace is an important addition to our board,'' said Marinaro. ''His expertise in strategic business practices, especially managing growth in high-technology companies, will further assist SyQuest with its short- and long-term goals.''
Prior to his presidency at ATA, Pace spent more than 18 years at Bain & Co., a prominent strategy consulting firm. He last held the position of senior partner and director for the firm. Pace holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. |
