Thanks. Keep it coming. I've already started building a nice little database of properties I like from Malibu to Del Mar. And, often I can find the original listings and get the previous price before the reductions.

I really like a work/live loft in Newport Beach as well as couple that are similar in Venice Beach. I must admit, I didn't love Venice the few times I've been there, but after automotive I'm going to run a little art business and that might be a good area to set up shop.

I also like the look of Pacific Palisades. You get a nice view of the ocean and you are just a few minutes from Santa Monica. I'm not sure I want to live in a place that is always busy with people and the Palisades might offer the best compromise.
