It isn't that I don't "care" about the environment.

But as the ABC News article indicated this week it is about ARROGANCE. The very idea that we are harming the environment through "global warming" or "global salting" is a stupid idea.

It suggests the Earth is totally unable to take care of itself.

I think anyone who has witnessed first hand, as I have, the aftermath of Katrina, has a pretty good idea of how the war between PEOPLE versus NATURE plays out. Nature consistently wins.

One day, there may be enough people doing enough bad things to cause problems for the environment. But we've dumped more toxins into the air, year after year, than one can imagine. And yet, still no problem. LA has the tightest emissions standards in the nation, yet LA is consistently one of the worst polluted cities in the country.
