Taro, It only came up because the setter of the rules did it.

I had a reason. Evidently we can't short stocks with a share price below $5, and I wanted to short TELOZ, and it's share price was about ~$5.10 at the time, and we can only trade 1 day a month, and only Fridays, and I'm not awake during market close to see whether TELOZ is above or below $5, so I either put in a conditional order to short TELOZ if it is above $5 or take a chance that I can't get a position in a game where I'm doing most of the work. The goal was to get my position started, not to have everyone suddenly entering conditional orders for no reason.

What's your excuse for putting in conditional orders other than to be a pain in the butt?
