Re: For as long as I can remember, Intel's roadmaps included x86 for as far as the eye could see. To suggest that Intel had any plans other than a far off hope that someday IA64 could replace x86, is simply nonsense.

Are you aware that it's not nice to lie? Or are you being sneaky and want to justify that statement as meaning Intel was going to keep selling IA-32 X86 CPUs for embedded systems and such after Intel transitioned the market to IA-64?
