Even the most ardent of the naysayers would have a hard time arguing as to the doubt mankind- in his quest for bigger, better, and faster- has developed the capability of altering the earth's makeup or atmosphere which in turn could affect the climate. Clear cutting? Greenhouse gas emissions? Strip mining? or worse
