Sounds like you are saying that you attribute all the recent dramatic weather changes to nature. You didn't contribute to it. You are powerless to do anything about it. What will be will be, so no sense worrying about it. We might as well just continue our merry ways of waste and spewing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Is that pretty much your position?

If it is, you aren't alone. That defeatist and "it's not my fault" attitude is common among the very large percentage of people who don't understand what is happening. I don't even debate Global Warming with people anymore. I am tired of having battles of wits with unarmed people. The people who are still arguing don't have the scientific background to understand the issues, yet they argue anyways with arguments that are blatantly wrong mathematically, or violate the laws of physics. How do you discuss global warming with someone who doesn't know what a BTU is, or what electromagnetic radiation is? It's a total waste of time.

Global warming really doesn't bother me, despite the fact that it is likely to make humans extinct in the next century. Humanity isn't worth saving anyways. I am just enjoying these last days of peace, plentiful food, and clean water. At the current rate of change major crop failures will start occurring in the next 5-10 years.
